Some things to know:

• I am 29 and live with my wife and two cats, Max and Mello.
• This is my third year teaching.
• I have one brother (25) and one sister (22).
• I am originally from Richmond, VA, but have lived in Seattle for 4 years. Between the two I lived in Durham, NC; London; and Chicago.
• I went to Duke for undergrad and got my Master's at UW.
• I used to be a sports writer and am a rabid sports fan. The teams I care the most about are: the (2010 NCAA Champion) Duke basketball team, the Boston Red Sox, and Arsenal.
• I love to travel and usually go away for a couple weeks in both the summer and winter. I just came back from a trip this summer to London, Germany, and the Czech Republic.
• I love to read and write. My favorite fiction author is Kurt Vonnegut.
• My musical tastes are quite limited: I listen to Phish, and a few other things on the side.
